INVERNESS The "Capital of the Highlands", the City of Inverness is the gateway to the countless delights of the Highlands of Scotland. Just outside the City is the Culloden Battlefield at Culloden Moor (National Trust). The site of the last major battle fought on British soil, there is an award winning audio visual display depicting the battle whilst a walk on the field serves as a poignant reminder of the clansmen who lost their lives. Inverness itself has much to offer - museums, an art gallery, fine theatre and leisure facilities, not to mention shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Ness flows through the City and both the river and neighbouring Moray Firth are home to a diverse range of wildlife and marine life including dolphins, which can be seen from the shore or on trips from the Harbour. The Property: No. 2 Nessie View A delightful, woodland lodge, ideally located in the tiny hamlet of Lochend, 6 miles from Inverness. This charming property offers comfortable, open-plan living accommodation with a wonderful, decked veranda and uninterrupted views over Loch Ness. Note: This property can be booked with ref 1833, 1516 and 1466 to accommodate up to 20 people. Accommodation All ground floor.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Large lawned surroundings. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 6 miles.
