| Previous Visitors' Comments | The house was superb and the attention to detail was spot on. There was a lot of space and it was particularly welcoming for each bedroom to be en-suite. Cartmel is a lovely village, with excellent pubs and walks from the doorstep. We would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break.

May 2008 | Good location in the South of The Lakes so ideal for coming up from the South. Cartmel is a lovely village. It is rare to find a property with three separate en suite bathrooms so this was a bonus. The welcome was very friendly and the cake which was left for us much appreciated as well as the milk and other sundries. So nice to be able to arrive and have tea and cake.

A lovely village in a beautiful part of the country with good local places to eat out. Very well placed to reach the Lakes and coastal areas. The weather was good all week.

Mar 2007 | This was probably the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was superbly kitted out, comfortable and well situated overlooking the Abbey. All credit to the owners who should be commended for their skill and imagination in presenting this house and for thoughtful touches (like the fruitcake!).
