Wooler 8 miles; Berwick-upon-Tweed 11 miles.

The small attractive village of Lowick is ideally placed for a holiday in Northumberland. Kimmerston Riding Centre is just a few miles to the west of the village. The pretty village of Ford with its castle and craft shops is 2 miles away, part of the Ford and Etal Estate which has facilities for cycling and fishing, as well as a mini railway - ideal for all the family. There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of Lowick. Northumberland's beautiful coastline, Holy Island, the Cheviots and the fascinating border town of Berwick, are all only a short drive away. A superb base for exploring all the region has to offer.

The Property: Granary Cottage

Originally a village granary, this quiet and cosy property is a traditionally built, mid-terraced cottage, situated in the rural village of Lowick. The inside has been refurbished to a particularly high standard, and provides extremely comfortable, well furnished accommodation, while retaining many traditional features. Close to the village green, it is only a stone's throw from the village shop and local pubs. Granary Cottage is a great base to enjoy the Borders, Northumberland, Holy Island and and the Heritage Coast.

Accommodation

Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath (thermostatic shower over), basin and WC. Additional downstairs WC with basin. Immaculate, well equipped fitted kitchen. Cosy living/dining room with open fire.

Amenities

Full oil central heating plus open fire in sitting room. Electric oven/grill (separate hob), combi-microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player, video, stereo/CD player etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Roadside parking. Fenced lawned rear garden with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Shop 50 yards, pub 100 yards.
